Fulcrum Utility Services has completed the acquisition of specialised engineering utility business, CDS Pipe Services.

The deal, which is worth £1.4 million, will see Fulcrum bring CDS' engineering capabilities in-house to further strengthen its direct delivery capabilities.

Previously, Fulcrum has subcontracted specialist elements of its projects to CDS.

The deal represents Fulcrum's second acquisition in two months, having purchased electrical infrastructure company Dunamis Group in February.
