Police have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with a stabbing incident on a construction site in Toxteth, Liverpool.
A man, aged 30, was reported to have been injured during an incident on a site at the junction of Stanhope Street and Plaza Boulevard at 2pm on Friday, 23 March.
The victim sustained a stab wound to his back and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital. His injury is not believed to be life threatening.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been taken to hospital for treatment to a minor cut to his leg.
Merseyside Police said: "A knife was recovered from the scene and taken for forensic testing.
"Further enquiries into the incident are ongoing. Witnesses are being spoken to and CCTV opportunities are being explored."
