Beverley Residents Invited To View Plans For £27m Water Facility Upgrade

Residents are being invited to view plans for a £27 million water upgrade project in Beverley, Yorkshire.

The scheme, which is being carried out for Yorkshire Water by contract partner Morgan Sindell SWECO, involves upgrading existing equipment and installing new processes at Beverley Waste Water Treatment Works. Construction is expected to start this summer with completion scheduled for the end of 2019.

The drop-in style event is being held between 11am and 3pm on the first floor of The Treasure House, Champney Road on Thursday, 22 March. Projects representatives will be on hand to answer any questions local residents may have, while site plans will be available for viewing.

Communications Advisor John Bond said: "We've always committed to sharing our plans with the public since obtaining planning permission last year and hope that people interested in the scheme can join us to find out more. We'll be working in Beverley for some time and want to ensure that whilst we're here, we engage with the community as much as possible."
