Highways England Appoints Former Carillion Director

Highways England has appointed former Carillion director David Picton as interim Executive Director for Commercial and Procurement.

Mr Picton, who joins the company on 13 March, will take over from David Poole who is moving to HS2 as procurement and supply chain director.

He previously led safety and supply chain development at Carillion, as well as sustainability strategies over the past six years.

In addition, he was previously a Director at Sky and at Motorola and also served 20 years in senior strategic and operational leadership roles as a wing commander in the RAF.
