Work is underway to install a new sewer pipe near Doncaster Dome.

Yorkshire Water's contract partners Barhale and B Jefferey Construction will lay a new section of pipe from the edge of the car park at the Dome and connecting it into the main sewer in Gliwice Way. Lane closures and traffic management will be in place.

The company has liaised closely with the local highways department to ensure that access to Doncaster Dome, Central East Doncaster Leisure Park and Asda will also be maintained at all times.

Communications Advisor, John Bond, said: "This is essential work which will improve the service in the area and we'd ask that people continue to support local businesses. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused and will do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum and complete the work as quickly as possible."
