Stepnell has been appointed to deliver two care homes schemes worth £16 million in Bedfordshire.
Developer Frontier has chosen the contractor build deliver both 75-bed projects at Ampthill Road, Flitwick and Hitchin Road, Stotfold. Each project is scheduled to be completed in May next eyar.
Designed by architects Harris Irwin Associates, the two schemes (worth £8m each) will feature 75 bedrooms as well as en-suite bathrooms and stylish communal spaces for dining, relaxing and socialising. In addition, each home will have its own cinema room and gym, a café, hair and beauty salon, guest accommodation and a children's play area for visitors.
Stepnell construction director Bill Haynes said: "These two facilities will help answer the significant need for high-quality, care home accommodation in Bedfordshire, providing modern, beautifully designed living spaces for residents.
