Yorkshire Water To Connect Village To New Water Main

Work is to begin to connect a village to a new water main in South Cave, Yorkshire.

The four-week scheme will take place along a section of Ferry Road from Monday, 22 January. Diversions will be in place.

John Bond, communications advisor at Yorkshire Water, said: "In order to carry out this work safely, we need to close a small section of Ferry Road. We understand this is a very busy road but due to the location of the pipe, the only way we can complete this work safely is by closing the road to through traffic.

"Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and emergency services, with a fully signed diversion in place."

Yorkshire Water said it will try and complete the work as quickly as possible.
