Interserve has secured a new five-year contract to deliver facilities services for holiday company, Thomas Cook.
The deal will see Interserve build on its previous agreement with Thomas Cook to deliver facilities services across its 180,000 sq ft corporate estate. This includes the provision of cleaning, security, reception, maintenance and electrical services for its office in Peterborough, its Falkirk contact centre and its Manchester office.
From spring 2018, the contract will cover all of Thomas Cook's 680 nationwide retail stores and its Manchester aircraft hangar.
Jeff Flanagan, managing director – commercial at Interserve, said: "“The combination of Interserve's workplace and retail expertise, coupled with our UK-wide reach makes us the ideal partner for Thomas Cook. Our specialist teams understand the company's needs and, more importantly, the needs of its customers, working to deliver a high-quality experience across its workspaces and high street stores."
Sam Warden, Head of Procurement and Property for Thomas Cook UK, said: "Interserve has demonstrated its ability to provide a value for money and consistent service across our corporate and retail facilities. I'm confident that with their support, our employees will continue to meet and exceed our customers' expectations, whether based in store or working as part of our support teams across the UK."
