Construction firm Kier has scooped a £136million deal with the National Health Service (NHS) in London.

The firm has been appointed to deliver a range of schemes for the Trust, beginning with an update of its Estates Strategy and site master plans across all sites which includes Northwick Park and St. Mark's, Central Middlesex and Ealing hospitals.

The contract has been procured through the P22 framework.

The work also includes new operating theatres and improvements to existing theatres as well as refurbishments to critical care and outpatients departments.

Lewis Parker, Kier Health Director, said: "We're extremely pleased to have been appointed to deliver this programme of works for the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As one of the busiest Trusts in London, these works will allow it to continue offering high-quality care to residents whilst also being able to cope with increased capacity."
