Wates has secured £21 million worth of work to build three new schools across the North West for the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).

The contractor will deliver a new £10.1m school building at Maghull High School in Liverpool, a £7m project at Hartford High School in Northwich and a £3.8m project for Upton Heath Primary.

Construction will begin on Maghull High School in January 2018 and will reach completion in 2019, where upon the existing building will be demolished. Work on both Hartford High School and Upton Heath Primary will follow in June 2018.

Each of the buildings have been designed by Sheppard Robson.
