Burmor Construction Starts Work On Peterborough Housing Development

Burmor Construction has started work to build 16 new 'affordable' homes in Peterborough.

The project is being developed on behalf of Cross Key Homes on a former car park at Hampton Court, Westwood. Residents are anticipated to begin moving into the new homes by summer 2018.

In addition, improvement works are being carried out to Hampton Court’s shopping parade as part of the development, while a new car park will be provided off Lutton Grove.

Over £600,000 of grant funding has been provided by the Homes and Communities Agency towards the development.

Cross Key Homes Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: "We are really excited to be building these desperately needed new affordable homes for local people as well as investing significant funds to improve our shopping parade at the same time."
