Lakesmere Goes Into Administration

One of the UK's largest cladding firms, Lakesmere, has collapsed into administration.

More than 100 jobs have been lost at the Winchester-based contractor.

In a statement on its website, Lakesmere confirmed the appointment of Richard Michael Hawes and Nicholas Guy Edwards of Deloitte LLP as Joint Administrators of Graceful Holdings Limited, Lakesmere Group Limited and Lakesmere Limited on Thursday, 02 November.

Lakesmere Group Ltd is the parent company for Lakesmere Ltd as well as Northern Irish firm McMullen Facades Ltd and a number of overseas subsidiaries.
