Road Resurfacing Work Begins In Leeds

Work has started on a series of road resurfacing projects in Leeds.

The schemes are being carried out in Stanningley, Pudsey and Thorpe Park.

Resurfacing is taking place at the A647 roundabout on Stanningley Road, at the junction with the A657 Lower Town Street/Henconner Lane. Completion is scheduled for Friday, 03 November. Work will be carried nightly out from 7pm to midnight.

Elsewhere, work will take place in Pudsey at Lidget Hill, Church Lane and Lowtown from 03 November. Phased road closures and diversions will be in place with the work scheduled to be finished by 24 November. The scheme will be carried out from 7pm to midnight on Monday to Friday and on Sundays as required/

The final location to receive surface improvements is Century Way at Thorpe Park in Austhorpe, with work to start on Monday, 06 November. The project will run until the end of January, taking place Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and weekends as required. Road closures and diversions will be in place.

Leeds City Council said all efforts will be made to carry out the works as quickly and efficiently as possible with the least possible inconvenience.
