Work is underway on a new £7.5 million primary school in London.

The new Ashmole Primary School in Southgate is being built by Morgan Sindall and work is scheduled for completion in summer 2018.

The building will feature 2,072 sq m of learning space for 420 pupils aged four to eleven. In addition, the project team will deliver external landscaping work and drainage upgrades to the surrounding sports pitches.

Ashmole Primary School is based on the same site as the existing Secondary Academy, Ashmole Academy. Once complete, both schools will form a centre of excellence in education, supporting students from early years through to age eighteen.
