More than 100 new homes are to be built in Hailsham, East Sussex,

Clarion Housing Group has purchased a 5.5-hectare site on land south of the A271 at Amberstone.

The site, which has planning permission, will feature 82 properties for private sale and 28 for shared ownership, including a mix of family homes and apartments. The homes will be built by Folkestone-based Jenner (contractors) Ltd and work is scheduled to begin earlier next year.
