A project milestone has been reached on a £19.2 million luxury care home scheme in Hertfordshire.
The Elton House development in Bushey has hit its topping out stage and work remains on schedule for completion in Summer 2018.
Designed by PRP Architects, features will include 95 apartments across four storeys, comprising 71 studios and one bedroom private apartments, plus 24 studios in a specialist dementia suite. The development will also feature a cinema, two restaurants, a spa, a hairdressers and a therapy room.
Ian Vickers, Managing Director of Wates Construction Home Counties, said: "A topping out ceremony represents an exciting milestone, and signals that a scheme is well on its way to completion.
"The experience we've accrued on projects in Ascot, Camberley and Hertford has proved invaluable on this latest development. The smooth progress of Signature Bushey is also a testament to the excellent working relationship we've developed with Signature over recent years.
"We look forward to another year of close collaboration as we bring this key addition to Hertfordshire's senior living sector to completion."
