McCarthy & Stone Appoints New Non-Executive Director

McCarthy & Stone has appointed John Carter as a new Non-Executive Director.

Mr Carter, who is currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Travis Perkins, will take up his new position on 01 October.

John White, Chairman of McCarthy & Stone, said: "We are delighted to announce John Carter's appointment as a Non-Executive Director and we welcome him to the Board. John is one of the industry's true heavyweights and has been the driving force behind the growth of Travis Perkins, the number one supplier of building materials in the UK.
