In September 2012, FPU were introduced to a large carpet wholesaler based in Scotland. The company in question supplied to the trade and as such, had vast quantities of stock in large warehouses that need to be kept in pristine condition.

Maintaining the quality of their product required a warm storage facility and so the company's gas consumption was considerably large. FPU were able to consolidate the company's many sites into one 'buying group', which meant that they had more buying power when negotiating with the energy suppliers.

In total, FPU secured a saving of over £30,000 per annum for the client and significantly reduced the admin resource required to manage the utility contracts.
