Lendlease Chosen As Preferred Bidder For £1bn High Road West Scheme

Lendlease has been recommended as the preferred bidder for a £1 billion regeneration project in North Tottenham.

The High Road West scheme will be developed next to Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium and is set to deliver thousands of new homes/jobs.

Subject to Haringey Council Cabinet approval, features include;

• More than 2,500 homes, with at least 750 affordable homes

• 191 high-quality, safe replacement homes for existing council tenants and resident leaseholders

• A new library and learning centre

• A refurbished community hub with new facilities at the Grange

• A new civic square for community activities and cultural events, flanked by new shops, restaurants and cafes

• New green spaces including gardens, children's play area and outdoor gym

• More than £10 million social and economic support for businesses and residents

• Investment in the town centre and community events

• Thousands of construction jobs and hundreds of new jobs following development

• A new industrial space to support businesses from the existing Peacock Industrial Estate

Lendlease's Chief Executive Officer of International Operations, Dan Labbad, said: "We are delighted to have been recommended as the preferred bidder for such a transformational project and look forward to working with Haringey Council, the local community and other stakeholders to help realise the vision for Tottenham.
