Morrison Utility Services (MUS) is to start a water pipe replacement project in Horsorth, Leeds.
The scheme will see pipes replaced under West End Lane between the junctions of Lee Lane West to near the junction with West Pasture Close.
The four-week project will get underway on Monday, 11 September. To carry out the scheme safely, the road will be closed during the works but maintained for residents. Diversions will be in place.
Emily Brady from Yorkshire Water said: "Making sure all our customers receive excellent service from us is very important and this new water pipe will be more resilient than before.
"We know this work may be disruptive but I hope everyone will understand why it is important for us to do. We're working hard to keep any disruption to a minimum and we'd like to thank everyone in advance for their patience."
