Wates has completed work on two new luxury care home developments in Berkshire and Surrey.
The two schemes have been carried out on behalf of Signature Senior Lifestyle.
The first development, Signature Sunninghill Care Home in Berkshire, Ascot Grange, features 96 private apartments, varying from studios to one-bedroom suites, with 23 offering support for individuals requiring specialist dementia care.
Elsewhere, the Signature Camberley Care Home in Surrey, Pembroke House, involved demolishing a five-storey office building and building a new four-storey care homes featuring 92 bedrooms.
Amenities in both facilities include a cinema room, hair salon, and therapy room, bistro restaurant and library.
Alec Jackman, Business Unit Director, Wates Construction Southern Home Counties, said: "Both properties demonstrate the different approaches our projects with Signature can take – one is an entirely new building in the quiet suburbs of Berkshire, whereas the other involved demolition and subsequent new-build in a busy Surrey town centre.
"What both have in common is that they will provide the senior living communities in the areas a new offering that will provide comfort, security and improve quality of life."
