Wates has started hunting for local workers to deliver its development projects across Cumbria.

The recruitment drive comes as the company undertakes a number of schemes in the region, including building BAE Systems Submarines' new Central Training Facility in Barrow and the flagship £30 million Campus Whitehaven development.

In addition, Wates recently announced its order book for Cumbria has grown to over £50m, 12 months since it began its regional expansion in 2016.
