Lovell has secured more than £12 million worth of work in the Leeds region.

Continuing it's strong start to 2017, the contractor has been appointed by Clarion Housing Group for two schemes worth £2.9 million at sites in Seacroft and near Halton. The projects will create 24 affordable rented homes in east Leeds.

Elsewhere, work has started on 14 modern, energy-efficient two-bed houses at the Sutton Park estate as part of Clarion Housing Group's ongoing regeneration of the area.

The company has also began building 10 two- and three-bedroom homes for Clarion at the site of the former Baileys House care home in Seacroft.

In Hull, Lovel (as part of Compendium Living) is starting work on a £9.3m scheme to build 68 homes in the Ings area. The project forms the latest phase of Compendium Living's major regeneration programme, in partnership with Hull City Council.

Regional managing director Robert Adams said: "The company continues to win work across the region thanks to our focus on long-term partnership working coupled with our ability to bring forward land for development and create high-quality new homes across a range of tenures, from affordable housing to properties for sale on the open market.

"We're delighted to have been appointed to these important projects for Clarion Housing Group and Compendium Living, which will each deliver much-needed new homes.

Lovell expects to build over 200 homes in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Humberside as a whole during 2017."
