Kier has been selected to deliver a new £70 million hospital in Manchester.

The new facility is being built on behalf of Nuffield Health and completion is scheduled for spring 2019. Construction is due to begin later this year.

The hospital will be developed on the site of Manchester Metropolitan University's former campus on Hathersage Road. It will provide over 90,000ft2 of healthcare facilities over three floors when complete and will include five operating theatres, an imaging and diagnostic suite, 50 patient rooms and 30 consultation rooms.
