Wates has appointed Joe Oatley as a new Non-Executive Director.
Mr Oatley, who will take up his new role on 03 July, will replace former Non-Exec director Graeme McFaull, who retired from the Board in October last year.
For the past five years, Mr Oatley has been Chief Executive at Cape, which specialises in the provision of critical industrial services to the energy and natural resources sectors.
Beforehand, he was Chief Executive of oil and gas engineer Hamworthy, which he joined in 2007 and led until its takeover by Wärtsilä in 2012.
Mr Oatley has spent most of his career n the engineering sector in a broad range of roles including Managing Director, strategy development and acquisitions.
