Morgan Sindall has secured a two-year contract extension with Western Power Distribution.
The deal is worth up to £60 million and will see the Group continue to deliver excavation, cable laying and reinstatement works in the West Midlands region as part of a previous three-year Framework Agreement.
Overall, Morgan Sindall will deliver planned and reactive works on Western Power Distribution's 11kV to 33kV distribution networks throughout the West Midlands region, which includes Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Tipton, Birmingham, Hereford and Ludlow, Worcester and Gloucester. The new deal will run until October 2019.
John Morgan, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall Group, said: "We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract extension, which we believe reflects the close and productive working relationships we have with Western Power Distribution, and the quality of the work we do. It also reflects the range of skills and capabilities we have in our Construction & Infrastructure division and its strong position for the future."
