Covers Timber and Builders Merchants has appointed Philip Walford as its new Commercial Director.

With 13 years of industry experience, Mr Walford has spent the past five years working as Senior Category Manager at Grafton Merchanting.

Based at the company's headquarters in Chichester, West Sussex, Mr Walford will be overseeing Covers' procurement team and reviewing commercial, product, price and supplier strategy and engaging with major stakeholders to fulfil growth objectives and support the company's network of depots across the south of England.
