Nearly 900 new homes are to be built at Nine Elms in Battersea.

Telford Homes has signed a pre-construction development agreement with Greystar to deliver 894 build to rent units at the former Royal Mail site.

Following Greystar's acquisition of the two plots of land, Telford Homes will assist the developer in pursuing a detailed planning consent for the site. Once planning is secured, the pre-construction development agreement will see Telford Homes entering a full design and build contract with Greystar to deliver the development.

Jon Di-Stefano, Chief Executive of Telford Homes, said: "Telford Homes is becoming established as a significant developer of build to rent housing in London.
