Colas has acquired maintenance contractor Allied Infrastructure Management.
With an annual turnover of £13 million working across airports, highways, defence and construction sectors, Allied Infrastructure has 20 years' experience of working in high pressure environments and short duration closures on airfields.
Colas said the acquisition will extend the range of products and service solutions it provides for customers.
Under the deal, the Allied senior management team and staff will remain in place, continuing to provide high levels of service and commitment to customers. The company will also continue to operate as a separate entity from Colas, and will provide services to their current customers as well as to the wider Colas group.
