Morgan Sindall has reported a strong start to 2017 as each division continues to perform as expected.
In a trading update, the Group's stated its order book as at 31 March 2017 was up 5% to £3.83 billion compared to three months ago, while its regeneration & development pipeline rose 2% to £3.28bn.
In addition, the Fit Out division has had a successful period of winning work, with its committed order book up 17% to a record £544 million from the year-end position.
The Group said based upon the size and quality of the Fit Out order book and its operational performance to date, along with its strong cash performance, the company is expecting full-year 2017 results to be slightly ahead of its previous predictions.
John Morgan, Chief Executive, said: "We have had a strong start to the year, and with our strategy geared towards those areas of the economy we expect to grow strongly, together with the size and quality of our order book and pipeline, we are confident that the momentum we have seen so far is set to continue."
