Pick Everard has teamed up with Optimum Consultancy to boost its presence in the south of the UK.
The industry consultancy, which has recently opened new offices in Bristol and Birmingham, is making the move as it continues to experience rapid growth.
In addition, the merger will expand the service offering of Perfect Circle through Scape Group's Built Environment Consultancy Services (BECS) framework. Perfect Circle is a consortium comprising Pick Everard, Gleeds and AECOM which delivers a broad range of consultancy services.
Project management firm Optimum Consultancy has worked on a number of high profile schemes including the offices for the London Stock Exchange, developments for the Crown Estate, and Transport for London, as well as high end retail projects.
Pick Everard partner Alastair Hamilton said: "This is an exciting opportunity for us to join forces with an established specialist consultancy and to take on new staff members whose portfolios feature some very impressive projects. We are looking forward to further strengthening our presence in the South West and South East and taking this opportunity to add even greater specialist expertise, which we can provide to clients.
"We believe that this business decision will provide us with a springboard to secure new opportunities and enhance our specialist capability."
Optimum co-owner, Peter Maryszack, said: "By working with Pick Everard our existing clients will be able to access a broader range of services through an established multi-disciplinary consultancy."
