SPIE has announced Rob Goodhew as the company's new UK Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Mr Goodhew will replace James Thoden van Velzen and takes up the new position on 08 May.
With over 30 years' experience in the engineering industry, Mr Goodhew joined the company in 2009 as Director of Major Projects for the Building Services division.
He has held several senior management roles over the last eight years, including Regional Director and then Managing Director of the UK Building Services division.
Speaking on the appointment, SPIE's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gauthier Louette said: "We are delighted to appoint Rob to lead our UK business. His extensive experience in the market and at SPIE made him the obvious choice to lead the business forward.
"The range of roles he has held at SPIE already, means that he has the detailed understanding and knowledge of our business to continue its expansion and growth. It's an exciting time for SPIE in the UK, and I'm pleased to welcome Rob to SPIE Group executive committee. I thank James for all he has contributed to the business and wish him well for the new opportunity he decided to embrace."
