A major milestone has been reached on a £900 million residential development in Northamptonshire.
Six large bridge beams have been lifted into place as part of the Stanton Cross scheme in Wellinborough.
Each 30-tonne structure will sit above the railway line and form part of the railway bridge at the development.
The project, which is being delivered by Bovis Homes, involves building 3,650 homes including leisure, community and educational facilities.
Other features include a 143-acre country park, an enhanced Wellingborough railway station and a new 1,000-space car park.
Paul Soutar, Operations Director at Bovis Homes, said: "We are delighted that the bridge installation was a success this weekend and I would like to thank the team for their hard work. The railway bridge installation is an important milestone for the project and we are all now looking forward to taking the next important steps in the progression of Stanton Cross."
