Mott MacDonald has been selected to help deliver a new £108 million campus for the Royal College of Art (RCA).

The consultancy will work alongside Equals and Herzog & de Meuron to build the new education facility at the University's Battersea South campus in London.

Located at the heart of the campus, the development will transform the RCA into a science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) focused graduate university.

Mott MacDonald will deliver building services, civil, structural, fire and acoustic engineering as well as strategic brief development and cost consultancy on the project. In addition, it will work with Equals to provide project management support for the facility, with Herzog & de Meuron acting as architects.

Once completed, the 15,000 sq m centre will be able to accommodate up to 1,500 postgraduate students and entrepreneurs.
