Frimstone has unveiled its new Quarry and Railhead located near the bustling Cambridge Market.
The plant has a capacity of 200,000 tonnes per annum and puts the business in prime place to capture the growth in the Cambridge Market.
Having opened in September, it has already delivered 20 trains of aggregates railed in from Leicestershire and Buxton.
The quarry started production in December and now has plenty of sand and gravel on stock for Frimstones local fleet of 17 trucks to deliver to construction sites in Cambridge.
The developments are in line with Frimstone's ambition as aggregate supplier of choice in Cambridge.
