Planning permission has been granted for a new care home development in East Hertfordshire.
The 66-bed facility will be built by LNT Care Developments the site of the former Sainsbury Depot in Buntingford.
Features include accommodation with fully en-suite bedrooms, spacious communal areas, and modern amenities including a cinema, library, garden room and tea shop, surrounded by landscaped gardens.
Construction is set to begin next month, with completion scheduled for January 2018.
Chris Babington, Director at Oakdale Care Group, who will operate the home, said: "We are delighted to get planning approved for the fourth home in the Oakdale family and we are looking forward to starting this exciting development with our trusted partners, LNT Construction.
"Buntingford's picturesque location along with its access to local amenities means it is a perfect fit with Oakdale's high standards of delivering outstanding quality care in exceptional homes."
