A new Holiday Inn hotel has opened in Stockport.
The 115-bed hotel at Stockport Exchange was built as part of the £1 billion Investing in Stockport regeneration programme.
It is being delivered by urban regeneration specialist Muse Developments in partnership with Stockport Council.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, Council Leader Alex Ganotis said: "I am delighted to welcome Holiday Inn Express to Stockport town centre.
"The opening of the hotel marks a huge step forward for the town as it seeks to become one of the North West's most successful boroughs. It shows that Stockport is genuinely open for business and ambitious about its future."
