Residents are being invited to attend an informational event about works on the multi-million pound High Speed 2 (HS2) rail project in London.
From late January to April, teams will be carrying out ground investigation surveys near Kilburn.
A number of survey methods will be used to obtains samples, including drilling boreholes, excavating pits or digging by hand around utility pipelines.
The surveys will help engineers understand ground conditions to design the railway, as well as ensuring any future construction is safe and efficient. Once completed, the area will be restored to its previous condition.
The informational event will be held from 3pm – 7pm at South Kilburn Studios on Monday, 23 January.
At the event, HS2 Ltd said residents can talk to experts, see maps and plans of the project, and ask questions and explore the proposals in more detail.
