Keepmoat is continuing work to build a new £2.7 million housing development in Sheffield.
The contractor is delivering 24 apartments on land off Park Grange Road in Norfolk Park.
The scheme, which is being delivered in partnership with Sheffield Housing Company (SHC) and Sigma Capital Group, is part of a £800m investment programme for new properties to rent across England. Overall, 5,000 new homes will be delivered by 2021.
As part of the Norfolk Park scheme, students from Stocksbridge High School visited the site to view the apartments being built.
Project Manager Gerry Doherty said: "At Keepmoat, we believe it is important to encourage students to visit our developments, to find out what it's like to work on a construction site and to ask any questions they might have about the work taking place."
The development is scheduled for completion by the end of September 2017.
