Morgan Sindall is continuing work on a new £10.3 million leisure centre project in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
The two-storey facility is being built on School Drive and forms part of a major redevelopment scheme throughout the town.
Work so far has included erecting the steel frame, installing the main Glulam beams over the swimming pool, fitting metal decking, and installing stairs from the ground to the first floor.
Once finished, the new modern facility will comprise of two swimming pools, a climbing wall, 100-station fitness suite and a spinning studio.
As part of the project, students from North Bromsgrove High School and Sixth form visited the site in order to inspire more students to enter the construction industry.
Cllr Peter Whittaker said: "It was great to visit the site again and see how much progress is being made towards the new leisure centre. It really is shaping up to become an incredible facility for people across the district and beyond."
