Work is to begin next year on a £3.6 million road safety scheme in Cornwall.
The four-month scheme on the A38 in the Glynn Valley will get underway on 16 January.
Works include reinforcing the carriageway, construction of a new retaining wall, the installation of vehicle restraint barriers, drainage improvements, resurfacing and associated road marking. Diversions will be in place.
Nick Reed, area team leader for Highways England, said: "We have planned the work so it has the least impact on local communities, ensuring it coincides with the quietest period on the roads.
"We have liaised with businesses along the route and access will be maintained throughout the project, and will be clearly shown on the diversion route signing."
