Highways England has completed a bridge maintenance project over the M6 in Staffordshire.
Work on the structure in Eccleshall has involved replacing sections of the bridge on the B5026 Eccleshall Road as well as barriers to improve overall safety.
In addition, re-waterproofing, resurfacing and re-marking of the road has also been carried out. The project has been completed ahead of schedule.
Highways England Project Manager, Arasu Gurusamy, said: "We've worked hard to complete this early and well in time for the Christmas and New Year break. All cones, signs and diversions are being removed so it is fully open for drivers.
"We'd like to thank motorists and residents for their patience over the past few months."
