Work on a £100 million motorway junction improvement scheme in Essex is now complete.
The major infrastructure project involved upgrading junction 30 of the M25 where it meets the A13 to create four new lanes in each direction.
Other features included new dedicated link roads, improving existing slip roads, installing new technology, drainage, safety barriers and lighting.
While main construction works have been completed, a half-mile section of the M25 between the Dartford Crossing and Stifford Road overbridge will remain under traffic management while the technology upgrade is completed.
Lizzie Cooper, Highways England Project Manager said: "Upgrading such a busy part of the network is a hugely complex task, and we have worked hard to bring it in ahead of our original schedule and on budget."
