Network Rail has expanded route services senior team by appointing Andy Haynes as its a new Contracts and Procurement Director.
Having worked with the company for more than 16 years, Mr Haynes recently worked as project director on Network Rail's Greater West Programme.
In addition, he has helped deliver major track and signalling projects on Western Route and has been accountable for the commercial strategies and procurement of Crossrail surface works and Reading Station.
In his new role, Mr Haynes will lead the delivery of route services' contracts, which supplies services to all of Network Rail's business units.
Susan Cooklin, Director of Route Services, said: "Andy has had a prominent career in Network Rail and I am delighted he is joining Route Services to manage our commercial contracts and build stronger supplier relationships."
