Galliford Try's Non-Executive Chairman, Greg Fitzgerald, has stepped down from the board.

The company confirmed Mr Fitzgerald formally left his position on Friday, 11 November, as previously announced in July this year,

Non-Executive Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director, Peter Ventress, has now been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman and stepped down as a member of the audit committee. Terry Miller, Non-Executive Director, has been appointed Senior Independent Director.

Mr Ventress said: "We would like to thank Greg for his very significant contribution to Galliford Try in his various roles including chief executive and chairman."
