Work is to begin on a two-week £50,000 bridge repairs project in Lancashire.
Engineers will start repairing the bridge which carries the M6 over Westfield Brook on Sunday, 20 November.
Maintenance work will take place from 8pm – 6am on both the northbound and southbound carriageways between junction 32 and junction 33. Diversions will be in place.
Highways England project manager Mark Mosley said: "The work includes improving the bridge deck waterproofing and other measures to extend the life of this important structure. Work has been planned to minimise disruption to drivers' journeys."
