Highways England is to begin a £480,000 resurfacing scheme on the A66 in Cumbria.
Work to repair a mile-long section of the eastbound route between Hutton and Dacre junctions will start on Monday, 21 November.
Resurfacing will be carried out between 8pm – 6am. Traffic management will also be in place.
Highways England project manager Peter Gee said: "This is part of our ongoing work to ensure that users of the A66 can continue to enjoy safe and smooth journeys.
"We've planned the work carefully to ensure we can do most of it at night and without too much disruption to drivers' journeys. The eastbound carriageway will remain open at all times."
