Keepmoat has started the next phase of a £500 million regeneration project in Hull.
The Hull City Wide Regeneration scheme involves building 4,000 new homes across the city over a 13-year timeframe.
The second phase will see 142 new homes built at Portobello Street in the city. 93 of the homes will be developed for the council, with 49 built on behalf of leading housing association Home Group.
The multi-million pound regeneration is being delivered by a consortium between Keepmoat, Strata, Home Group and Priority Space.
Martin Smithurst, regional managing director for Keepmoat, said: "“The vision and commitment of Hull City Council is remarkable and this is a fantastic project to be involved in. Keepmoat has a proven track record in Hull and we are delighted to be supporting the council to transform some of the run down areas of this great city."
Cllr John Black added: "It's great to see the plans rise from the drawing boards across the area, from the Integrated Care Centre to new council housing, we are creating exciting new opportunities for jobs and living."
