Wates Continues Work On London Heritage Project

Wates is continuing refurbishment work on a major heritage project in London.

The contractor is underway with redeveloping the House of Lords' Millbank House in Westminster. The scheme includes the renovation of the six-storey building in Great College Street and completion is scheduled by autumn 2017.

Designed by architects Purcell Miller Tritton, the project will comprise of office space with brand new mechanical and electrical services.

The development adds to £145 million worth of heritage work being delivered by the company in London, which includes the refurbishment of the Metropolitan Police Service's 1930s Grade II listed Hammersmith Police Station and the V&A Museum extension at Exhibition Road.
