Industry supplier SIG has announced Nick Maddock as its new Group Finance Director (GFD).

Mr Maddock is currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at McCarthy & Stone and has held his current position since September 2011.

Previously, he has worked as Finance Director for Centrica, as Financial Controller at British Gas, and as a Director in Mergers and Acquisitions at ING Barings. He also trained as a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser at Ernst & Young.

Mr Maddock will take over from current GFD Doug Robertson, who is retiring from the company. Precise dates will be announced once determined.
